Terry Williamson

 He is a corporate communications consultant with diverse experience in the energy and health care industries and the public sector with a proven track record in evaluating reputation/image management and strategic communications planning and execution.

He has had a successful career in public and corporate affairs.  Some of the significant positions he has held were:  PECO Energy Company, 1991-2003, Director of Communications/External Affairs; SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories, King of Prussia, PA, 1989-1991, Manager of Communications; Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, 1987-1989, Press Secretary and Media Consultant; Governor’s Office, Harrisburg, PA, 1983-1987, Deputy Press Secretary/Speechwriter and Administrative Assistant.

 He served in the Marine Corp from1967-1970 and was a Platoon and Company Commander in Vietnam.   He was honorably discharged as Captain with a Bronze Star with combat “V”.

 His professional Affiliations include:  President, Penndelphia Scholarship Foundation, Philadelphia, PA 1993-2004; Secretary, Lights of Liberty Board, Philadelphia, 2000-2004; member, Army/Navy Game Host Committee, 2002-2004; Board Member, Phila.  Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center, Philadelphia, 1996 – 2004; and Board Member, Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial Advisory Fund, 1998-2003.

 In 2003, he was named Veteran of the Year by the Organized Labor Supports America’s Veterans.

His formal education includes: Fellowship Recipient, Asian Studies, University of Hawaii, Honolulu, 1979-80:  BA, Journalism and Political Science, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL 1967.
