Skip recently retired from Wachovia as Senior Vice President and Director, Portfolio Management in Calibre, the Family office of Wachovia Bank.  He had been with Wachovia/Core States/Mellon since 1973.

 In 1995 he retired from the US Navy as Captain USNR after 33 years of active duty and reserve service.  He has served on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Naval Academy Alumni Association, as a Trustee of the US Naval Academy Foundation, as a Naval Academy Information Officer (Blue & Gold) and is the Chairman of the Naval Academy Selection Board for Congressman Joe Sestak.
